German numbers are easy: only 18 numbers must be memorized, and the rest follow a pattern.
Numbers in German are easy
- Only 18 numbers have to be memorized: 0 to 12, 20, 100, 1000 and the big ones (million, billion).
- All the other numbers follow a pattern, such as 42, 58, 99, 126 or 1589.

13 to 19
- Now the hard part is done.
- From 13 to 19, take the unit and add -zehn: drei + zehn = dreizehn.
- Two small changes: sechs becomes sechzehn and sieben becomes siebzehn.
